Overview

Goof Troop (1993) is Capcom's two-player puzzle adventure based on the Disney cartoon, an early design by Shinji Mikami before Resident Evil.

Deep Dive

Goofy and Max explore five areas of Spoonerville Island, alone or together. Levels are built around puzzles using items such as a grappling hook, a bell and shovels, and bosses are fought by throwing objects.

Developer Story

Satoshi Murata and Shinji Mikami designed it, with music by Yuki Iwai. Capcom released it in North America in July 1993. Nintendo Power found the challenge "fairly low" but the game still fun.
