Ice Climber (1985) is Nintendo's two-player platformer, in which Popo and Nana climb 32 icy mountains to win back vegetables stolen by a giant condor.
Popo and Nana smash through layers of ice with mallets to climb each mountain, fending off Topis, Nitpickers and White Bears. One or two can play.
Kenji Miki directed it, with Masayuki Uemura and Shigeru Miyamoto producing and Akito Nakatsuka composing. It came out on the Famicom in January 1985 and in North America that October.
