Exed Exes (1985), Savage Bees in North America, is Capcom's insect-themed vertical shooter for one or two players, in which destroyed enemies can be turned into collectable fruit.
One or two players fly up a vertically scrolling screen against insect- and skull-themed enemies. One reviewer singled out the way enemies can be turned into collectable fruit as the game's greatest attraction.
Yoshiki Okamoto directed it, Takashi Aoki programmed it and Tamayo Kawamoto composed the music. Capcom released it in Japan in February 1985, licensing it to Memetron in North America, and Micronics made a Famicom version that December.
