1992 · Platform · Amiga / Atari ST
Fire and Ice (1992) is Andrew Braybrook's Graftgold platformer starring Cool Coyote, who freezes monsters with his shots and defeats them to collect the pieces of each level's key.
Cool Coyote must find and unlock each level's exit, which needs key pieces carried by monsters. Shooting a monster freezes it, and touching it while frozen defeats it. The 1994 CD32 version added detailed backgrounds, 256 on-screen colours and several layers of parallax scrolling.
Braybrook designed it with Phillip Williams, with music by Jason Page, and Renegade published it on the Amiga and Atari ST. MS-DOS, CD32, RISC OS and Master System versions followed between 1993 and 1996.
