Virtua Striker (1994) is Sega AM2's arcade football game on the Model 2 board, the first football game with 3D computer graphics.
Three buttons handle passes and tackles, long balls and crosses, and shots, which can be charged or tapped for headers and volleys. Teams play in fixed formations through a knockout tournament, with two-minute matches settled by sudden death and penalties.
Sega advertised it as "the first three-dimensional computer graphic soccer game". Game Machine ranked it the most successful dedicated arcade game of July 1995. Sequels followed in 1997, 2001 and 2004.
