Overview
Rygar (1990) on the Atari Lynx is Haehn Software's conversion of Tecmo's arcade game, fought with the Diskarmor, a spinning shield on a chain.
Deep Dive
Rygar's only weapon is the Diskarmor, thrown and pulled back like a yo-yo. The Lynx version has 23 levels instead of 27, some of them new, an expanded story and a larger, tougher final boss. Throwing the shield upward needs a power-up.
Developer Story
Haehn Software made it and Atari Corporation released it in North America in August 1990.
