Overview

Mischief Makers (1997) is Treasure's Nintendo 64 platformer, in which the robot maid Marina Liteyears grabs, shakes and throws objects.

Deep Dive

Marina crosses five worlds and 52 levels by grabbing, shaking and throwing objects. It plays in 2D with pre-rendered 3D graphics, and was the Nintendo 64's first 2D side-scrolling single-player platformer.

Developer Story

Treasure released it in Japan in June 1997 and abroad later that year. Critics praised its invention and bosses but criticised its short length, low difficulty and sound; later reviews were kinder.
