Overview
Joe & Mac (1991), also called Caveman Ninja, is Data East's two-player prehistoric platformer in which two cavemen rescue women kidnapped by a rival tribe.
Deep Dive
Joe and Mac fight with boomerangs, fire and stone wheels. Their health drains steadily except during boss fights.
Developer Story
Data East released it in arcades in early 1991 and on the Super NES that December. Other studios made the NES, Game Boy and Genesis versions. Critics praised the graphics and sound but criticised the controls.
