Overview
Alien vs. Predator (1994) is Rebellion's Atari Jaguar first-person shooter, with three playable species: Alien, Predator or Colonial Marine.
Deep Dive
There are three campaigns. The Alien must rescue its queen from the Predator ship, the Predator must kill the queen and take her skull, and the Colonial Marine must escape the base, set it to self-destruct and leave in an escape pod. Critics praised the choice of characters, the large levels and the tense atmosphere, but noted repetitive stretches and a low frame rate.
Developer Story
Rebellion developed it and Atari released it in October 1994; in Japan it was packed in with the Jaguar. Rebellion later made the PC Aliens versus Predator (1999).
