Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! · NES · 1987 · Password
Effect: Skips directly to the final fight against Mike Tyson (World Circuit match).
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! used a password system to save progress, and the code to fight Mike Tyson directly — 007 373 5963 — became one of the most memorised passwords in NES history. Players shared it on playgrounds and in magazines, making the otherwise locked-away final bout accessible to everyone. The code was later reprinted countless times in gaming retrospectives and remains among the most instantly recognised strings of digits from the 8-bit era. After Tyson's contract expired, the game was re-released as Punch-Out!! featuring Mr. Dream, with a different final boss password.
