Ballblazer was a futuristic one-on-one sport played from a first-person perspective with split-screen multiplayer. The scrolling algorithm created smooth field movement that was technically remarkable for 1984.
Lucasfilm Games developed Ballblazer alongside Rescue on Fractalus. The game was unique: a competitive sport played from first-person with simultaneous split-screen views for both players.
Ballblazer was developed by David Levine and Gary Winnick at Lucasfilm Games — one of the company's two debut titles.
